Nazara Technologies Acquires UK-Based Fusebox Games for $27.2 Million

Nazara Technologies has acquired UK gaming studio Fusebox Games for Rs 228 crore ($27.2 million) in an all-cash deal. Fusebox, known for its interactive story game “Love Island,” reported strong growth in 2024 with Rs 116.6 crore ($13.9 million) in revenues. The acquisition aligns with Nazara’s broader M&A strategy, following recent investments in Circle of Games and Paper Boat Apps.

BiofuelCircle Secures $5.3 Million to Expand Biomass Marketplace

BiofuelCircle, a biomass and biofuel marketplace, has raised Rs 45 crore ($5.3 million) in a funding round led by Spectrum Impact. The Pune-based company will use the funds to enhance its organized supply chain for biomass, connecting farmers, storage facilities, and refineries. Despite growing its revenue fivefold to Rs 11 crore in FY23, BiofuelCircle’s losses also increased by 80% to Rs 6.8 crore.

Visit Health Raises $30 Million for Expansion and Strategic Partnership

Telehealth and wellness platform Visit Health has raised Rs 250 crore ($30 million) through primary and secondary stake purchases from Docprime Technologies and other stakeholders. The funds will support business expansion and a strategic partnership with TatvaCare. Visit Health, serving over 400 companies, saw its revenue triple to Rs 53 crore in FY23.

GenWorks Secures Rs 41 Crore to Enhance Healthcare Services

Healthcare firm GenWorks raised Rs 41 crore ($5 million) in a funding round led by Evolvence Fund, with Somerset Indus Healthcare Fund and Zawawi Group executives participating. The funds will aid in expanding its medical device offerings. Post-investment, GenWorks is valued at around Rs 540-550 crore ($65 million).

Leibi-based DC Connected Car, specializing in AI-driven remote vehicle diagnostics, secured €2.1M in seed funding led by VENPACE. The fund will support international expansion and advanced tool development. Founded in 2020, the company offers AI-integrated remote diagnostics to address the industry’s labor shortage and enhance vehicle health insights.

Tampa-based OPSWAT, specializing in critical infrastructure protection (CIP) cybersecurity, has acquired InQuest, renowned for it Deep File Inspection® and RetroHunting™ technologies. InQuest CEO Michael Arcamone becomes OPSWAT’s Chief Strategy Officer and VP of Federal Sales, while former InQuest CTO Pedram Amini joins as Chief Scientist.
